In 2017 we were approached by Keanes Jewellers to design and deliver a celebratory event to launch the new Rolex ‘Basel Collection’.

For the team at Chapter, this was a new foray into the world of Event Design. From the outset we were extremely excited to bring our ideas and design skills to the table and execute them to the highest level.

Three months of preparation went into designing and planning the event which required a hands-on approach and a broad skill-set. We sourced a location with prestige in The Crawford Art Gallery, designed bespoke cabinets to house the collections, engaged a world class mixologist to create a signature cocktail and designed high-end perspex invites and luxurious printed collateral with gold foils and beautiful paper stock.

Our greatest triumph on this project was working with Jill Wildflower to push the boundaries of floristry. Together we created a bespoke floral installation for each of the 10 cabinets, each installation inspired by the watches it housed. We didn’t stop at that and froze a Rolex surrounded by flora in ice. It was a big risk but came with a big pay-off.

The event proved to be a huge success and Keane’s received generous positive feedback from valued customers.
