In 2017 we were approached to design and deliver a celebratory event to launch the new Rolex ‘Basel Collection’. This was a new foray into the world of Event and Environmental Design. From the outset we were extremely excited to bring our ideas and design skills to the table and execute them to the highest level.
Designing and planning this event required a hands-on approach and a broad skill-set. We sourced a location with prestige in The Crawford Art Gallery, designed bespoke cabinets to house the collections, engaged a world class mixologist to create a signature cocktail and designed high-end perspex invites and luxurious printed collateral with gold foils and beautiful paper stock.
We worked with Jill Wild to push the boundaries of floristry. Together we created a bespoke floral installation for each of the 10 cabinets, each installation inspired by the watches it housed. We didn’t stop at that and froze a Rolex surrounded by flora in ice. It was a big risk but came with a big pay-off.
