College Expressive Typography Project

Given the oppertunity to work on an expressive typography project in college for the centenary of the 1916 rising, I chose Joseph Mary Plunkett.

Given Plunkett’s tough life from start to end, there was what felt like a copious amount of possibilities for this project. From the bind being stitched to represent Plunkett’s surgerys to the dot on the ‘i’ being used as a bullet to cut through the ‘t’ in order to represent how Plunkett was assassinated for his country.
